I think that packing is one of the most important things in the planning and preparation of your vacation! It seems to be something a lot of family's overlook and when they do disaster usually strikes! I have compiled my top 5 tips for you my readers!
1. Pack neatly! Roll your clothes, fit each persons belongings into only one bag! Don't go crazy and bring many bags per person! Rolling your clothes will keep them from getting wrinkled and will save so much more space! The picture above would probably not look as crazy and full if all those clothes were rolled!
2.Remember! Don't over pack but make sure to remember important things like medications and any products you need like soaps or lotions! The ships have most everything you could want but they do not stock the cabins with every product ever! Don't forget to bring what you really need when it comes to personal preferences!
3. Save Room in your suite case! I can not stress this enough! No matter how much you say you will not buy anything on vacation...you will and then you wont have anywhere for it! Better yet bring things that take up space in your bag that you will use on vacation! My favorite is Diapers...I know I am going to use them and its less money then having them shipped to my destination so on the way home we have a lot of space for our souvenirs! Works our perfect every time!
4. Remember the basics! I can't tell you how many people forget either there passports or birth certificates! EVERY PERSON needs them!! Do not leave your house without triple checking that you have them!!
5. Know the dress codes...you don't want to show up to dress up evening in shorts and a tee shirt! You will be given a list of all the nights you will be required to adhere to a certain dress code and you need to remember to pack accordingly! Don't fret the formal nights are crazy fun!
Hope this helps you in your next big cruise packing adventure. If you have any other info to add to this or need some more tips feel free to comment on the blog post! I love to hear from all of you!
